The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) is an autonomous Telecom Technology Centre of the Government of India.
CDOT requires suitable candidates Apprentice Trainee.
POST: APPRENTICE TRAINEE
PERIOD OF TRAINING: ONE YEAR
AGE : 19-25 YRS (should not be more than 25yrs as on 1st April 2012)
Walk-in-interview Dates : May 23-25 2012 (3days)
Interview Time : 10am -4pm
Venue for interview :
C-DOT Campus, Mehrauli, ( 1.5 Kms (approx.) from Chattarpur Metro Station), New Delhi -110030
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
1) B.Tech. in CS or ECE
2) Diploma in CS or ECE
3) ITI holders in CS or ECE or MECH.
4) Diploma in Secretarial Practice (English medium)
Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 60% in their degree /diploma.
Candidates should have passed Degree in Engineering /Technology or Diploma in Engineering /Technology from the institutes approved by AICTE /Directorate of Technical Education of Concerned State and 10+2 vocational passed out students from Higher Secondary Schools /Junior Colleges and Intermediate Education
Candidate should not have undergone Apprenticeship Training elsewhere.
In case of all other categories, except ITI Holders, Candidate should not have completed three years after passing the qualifying examination and should have work experience of at least one year.
STIPEND & OTHER ALLOWANCES:
In addition to this stipend, they will be allowed to use canteen and transport facility at subsidized rates as applicable to C-DOT employees.
Offer of Appointment :
It shall not be obligatory on the part of C-DOT to employ Apprentices on completion of training
nor shall it be obligatory on the part of the apprentice to accept an employment under the
employer. The selected candidates will be governed by the terms and conditions as per
Apprenticeship Act of 1961 and further amendments made therein.

- Graduate Engineers – Rs. 10000/- p.m. (fixed)
- Diploma Holders – Rs. 7000/- p.m. (fixed)
- ITI Holders – Rs.5000/- p.m. (fixed)
