FSS is looking for Network Engineers for Mumbai development center.

1. General Requirement: 
The key responsibility for this position would be to provide support and management of Network components including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Connectivity links etc. Candidates must possess good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; good listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills in the Network and Network Security domain; and have the ability to manage critical production issues.


2. Skill areas: 

a. Core capabilities: 
The candidate should have hands-on experience in
  • Managing and maintaining the Wide Area and Local Area Networks with proper capacity and scalability.
  • Design / Implementation and providing support of Cisco-based Routers, Switches, Security Solutions, Wireless Solutions and Network Management across WAN/LAN
  • Configuring and maintaining proactive Network Monitoring System leveraging existing tools in order to maintain and track important metrics.
  • Maintaining relationship with telecommunications carriers for the existing and future network installations including service providers of Leased lines, VSAT, Internet Gateways, MPLS Links etc.
  • Performing frequent Network Trending & Analysis and make recommendations and changes accordingly to maximize performance and minimize costs
  • Managing IT infrastructure projects involving Networking and Network Security
  • Supporting disaster recovery and BCP processes for the Network Setup.
  • Supporting in management of compliance to information security controls requirements.
  • Implementation of information security policies and procedures for the Network setup.
  • Shall have strong troubleshooting, analytical and diagnostic skills under stressful conditions.

b. Skills Required: 


  • Must have a keen technical inclination to learn several technologies around Network and Network Security
  • Must be very strong on basic Networking and Network security concepts
  • Must have hands on experience in atleast three of the following
  • Cisco Switches and Routers 
  • Firewalls like Checkpoint and Juniper/Netscreen. 
  • Network protocols BGP/EIGRP/OSPF/MPLS / VPN (IPSEC) etc
  • Swtiching technologies including VLAN Management, STP/RSTP, Port-channeling, Trunking, Port SPAN, Layer-3 Switching
  • Clustering technologies NSRP,HSRP, VRRP, Nokia IP clustering in Active/Active, Active/Passive
  • Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as HP Openview/ Cisco works/ Whatsupgold / Nagios / Netcool will be an added advantage


Experience: 3 to 5 years
