Bharat Electronics Limited, India’s premier Navaratna Defence Electronics Company requires Engineers on contract basis for a period of ONE YEAR for the project being implemented at Bihar state by Smart Cards Division of Components SBU of BEL Bangalore unit through walk-in-selection:

REQUIREMENT:

1. Contract Engineer Biometric Data Centers: 6 Posts
2. Contract Engineer–Field Biometric Operations: 30 Posts

JOB DESCRIPTION

• CONTRACT ENGINEERS (BIO METRIC DATA CENTERS)
  Qualification: Second class in BE/ B.Tech (Computer Science, Computer Engineering,Computer Science and Information Technology, Information Science, Electronics &Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, MCA, M.Sc (CS, IT))from a recognized University/ institution.
  Experience: 0-1 year experience in MySql/MS-Sqlserver/Oracle and RDBMS, software development skills with C, C++, Java, .Net, Software Testing skills.
  Job Description: Database management in Data Entry Centers including data backup, merging, restoring, quality control of data entry, analysis of problems, and taking corrective/preventive measures in both technical and non technical areas. Preparing and monitoring the daily progress at the Data Centers.

• CONTRACT ENGINEERS (FIELD BIOMETRIC OPERATIONS)
  Qualification: Second class in BE/ B.Tech (Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical) from a recognized University/ institution.
  Experience: 0-1 year experience in MySql/MS-Sqlserver/Oracle and RDBMS.
  Job Description: Planning of BME schedule in consultation with vendors and tehsil administration. Supervising the BME camps including deployment of systems and infrastructure. Technical support to BME teams. Collecting and forwarding the registrar packets to DDBA. Maintenance of data backup, MIS reports on daily basis. Need to travel to interior parts of Tehsil and villages for supervision of the BME centres.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION
Age: Less than 25 Yrs as on 01.12.2012.
Reservation: Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as per Govt rules.
Remuneration: An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 12,000/- per month. Period of contract: One year from the date of joining, however the same may be extended depending on the progress of the project and performance of the candidate.

Method of Selection: Selection will be through written test (objectives type questions) and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Eligible candidates, who satisfy the above conditions, can attend the walk-in-selection. Selected candidates have to execute a bond to serve minimum period of one year and deposit their original degree marks cards / certificates with the Company

Candidates please bring the following certificates in ORIGINAL for verification and a photocopy of each for our records along with filled in application format.

1. Documents in support of your educational qualification (i.e. marks statements (all semesters / years) Degree Certificate or Provisional Degree certificate, Post Graduate Degree Certificate.
2. Date of birth certificate (SSLC/SSC Certificate / Marks card).
3. SC / ST / OBC / PWD Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format.
4. Certificates / testimonials relating to work experience.
5. Two recent passport size photographs.
6. Any other certificates / testimonials you may desire to place before the selection committee.

Candidates who have not completed BE / B Tech. need not apply. Those who are unable to produce their Degree marks cards and certificates in original on the day of the written test / interview for whatever reason will not be considered.

Local candidates will be preferred. Only Indian Nationals need to apply.

No TA DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview. BEL reserves the right to debar/ disqualify any candidates at any stage of the Selection Proceedings, for reason whatsoever.
