HCL Walk-in event for 2012 batch Freshers on Thursday, March 21, 2013 in Jaipur from 10 am to 4 pmHCL is conducting a walk-in drive for freshers who possess the start-up spirit to work in an environment that nurtures entrepreneurs.
Designation: Trainee
Work Location: Noida
Qualification: BCA / B.Sc. / B.Tech. (CS, IT, ECE, EEE, ENI) - 2012 batch
Percentage cut-off: 60% throughout academics
The ideal candidate should:
- Possess very good communication skills
- Have basic knowledge of networking and other technologies
- Have good understanding of the Infrastructure Services Business
- Have knowledge of Database/Networking concept and Operating System (For DC Ops/ICC Freshers)
- Have knowledge of Windows, MS Office, Internet Browsers, Adobe Acrobat, etc. (For Helpdesk positions)
- Knowledge of MS Outlook Troubleshooting, Internet and Networking
- Have technical knowledge of operating systems like Windows XP
- Be available to join immediately
- Be willing to work in night shifts
- Have no standing arrears
Job Description :
- Managing customer escalations and provide technical resolutions
- Adhering to standard operating procedures / work instructions
- Ensuring quality of ticket closure and queue assignment
- Maintaining track specific records and vendor management
- Identifying avenues for value adds and present value add summary
- Participating in Talent Management meetings - sharing and acquiring knowledge
- Updating the knowledge base—technical upgrade across versions of environment, when required
- Participating in monthly steering committee meetings (as required)
- Participating in monthly QA audits
- Monitoring and managing various IT Infrastructure components
- Providing voice support to clients and online technical resolution
